-- Dr Joern Meissner, Academic Director of Manhattan Review

Our Focus and Qualifications
Manhattan Review dedicates itself to business education at the highest level. We have not only attended, but also taught at
Ivy League business schools ourselves and have an excellent track record of delivering lectures and review sessions to MBA students.
Different from most of our competitors who offer test preparation for every possible entrance examination, we stand committed to
helping professionals achieve their GMAT and MBA admission goals and support them throughout their MBA study and beyond.
Time and Cost Effectiveness
The most limiting factor in GMAT preparation for most people is time. It is fairly easy to prepare somebody for the GMAT in
200 hours. However, it takes significantly more teaching experience and techniques to do so in less time.
Our preparation is tailored to busy professionals. We will teach you what you need to know in the least amount of time.
In addition, our course offers the same amount of live teaching time as our competitors at 70% of their price.
Most of our instructors are Ivy League business school graduates who scored within the 99th percentile on their total GMAT
score and are experienced with teaching and tutoring in various settings. They are also accomplished professionals who have had
successful careers and would like to continue their passion for teaching by sharing their advice with prospective MBA students.
Our other instructors hold PhDs or dual master's degrees in various fields such as Finance, Physics, Mechanical Engineering and
Comparative Literature. They are dedicated to teaching and/or tutoring specific subjects including Math, Verbal, Corporate Finance
and Accounting. They are committed to being part of our team and to assisting you in maximizing your potential!
Our top-quality Turbocharge Your GMAT preparation materials include about 350 pages of our well-illustrated and professionally
presented strategies and originally written problems for both the Verbal Section and the Quantitative Section, 150 pages of detailed
solutions, and more than 300 pages of our internally developed Quantitative and Verbal Vocabulary List with detailed definitions,
related words and sentence examples. The detailed breakdown of our exclusive practice problems per category are 40+ Reading
Comprehension passages, 60 Critical Reasoning questions, 250 Sentence Correction questions, and 300 Quantitative questions.
We also provide you with a CAT CD which contains one diagnostic test and three full-length CATs, along with The
Official Guide for GMAT Review (12th edition),
Official Guide for GMAT Quantitative Review and
Official Guide for GMAT Verbal Review.
Meantime if you click on Student Center, you can download for free
some of our most recent developed business school admission advice and GMAT related write-ups and research reports.
Since most of our students are young professionals, instead of offering classes during busy and stressful weekdays,
most of our classes are held over weekends to allow them to get enough rest and come to class with a fresh and productive mind.
In addition to our popular weekend crash courses, our In-person Classroom or Interactive Online long courses (either
multi-week multi sessions or an intensive week course) optimize your preparation time and include a one-hour individual
Q&A session so that you can bring your own practice questions to the classroom and get detailed explanations on a
one-on-one basis.
At Manhattan Review, we recognize that the GMAT and business school applications are not an annoying hassle,
but an opportunity for you to conduct a thorough self-evaluation, to make improvements, and to stand out from the crowd of
competitors!
